真空斷路器是電力系統中普遍使用的高壓電器，其核心部件是真空滅弧室，由于滅弧室是以真空條件作為工作基礎的，所以它不象油開關，SF6開關那樣容易檢測其質量。傳統上，真空斷路器用戶判斷滅弧室真空度的方法是工頻耐壓法，這種方法只能粗略判斷真空度嚴重化的滅弧室。

NAZKD真空開關真空度測試儀是真空滅弧室的真空度的鑒定設備，以單片計算機為主控單元，測試過程完全實現自動化。該儀器的采樣設計一改以往采用電流峰值做標定的方法，而采用離子電荷來做標定。這樣，有效地抑制了測試過程中瞬態電源的干擾，使測試穩定可靠。由于采用計算機為主控單元，該儀器能很方便地扣除由于環境因素產生的漏電電流。本儀器最突出的特點是：實現了真空滅弧室的免拆卸測量，直接顯示真空度值，使真空斷路器用戶詳細掌握滅弧室的真空狀態，為有計劃地更換滅弧室提供了可靠的依據，為電網的安全運行提供了有力保障，克服了工頻耐壓法僅能判斷滅弧室是否報廢的缺陷。
