NAGM系列可調高壓數字兆歐表測試電壓高，功率大，被測量對象往往又帶有工頻泄漏或感應上高壓干擾電能，因此為了人身安全，使用該儀器首先一定要接好安全接地線。

該儀表在高壓啟動后，請不要采用人工放電方式檢查儀表，在測試完畢后也應等待儀表自動放電使電壓表回零后才進行例行安全需要的人工放電。因為短路放電的強烈電脈沖波有損被測對象的絕緣壽命，如果脈沖竄入儀表，也有損儀表內的集成電路。
